This website consists of my responses to things that have struck me visually.  

A note regarding equipment. While a camera can be in and of itself a thing of beauty, images on this site have been produced with everything from toy cameras to cellphones to pro-line cameras. For a long time I used film and when digital came along I was utterly and completely converted. I am not a purist. Everything is so good technically these days, nothing holds anyone back from doing something. Nothing except perhaps marketing. Use what you want.

For the record:

Long history in film.  Slow transition to digital by 2009. Eveything from cellphones to rangefinders to SLRs. All the usual suspects. Oh, and an Etch-a-Sketch

Printing done at home on everything from a little Canon 4×6 to an Epson 7890.
